How much does it cost to have a website?
Development costs are customized to
your requirements:
We have unique creative ways to make your website not only
affordable, but it can pay for itself.
The programming, development and design you require to
customize your successful Internet presence will reflect in
the cost. Websites are like automobiles. The more you
want from one, the more it costs. Like a car, there are
accessories that are just plain stupid and a waste of money.
And there are accessories that will enhance your driving
experience, but alas, increase the costs as well. it will be our job, and
yours, to find the "Perfect Fit".
We can also show you how to get your patient
inter-active website that not only will not cost you
anything but can make you money as well.

What is included?
We will work
with you before, during AND after creation. We will maintain and make any
changes to the site as your schedule allows. For example, if you are having
a sale, we put that up on the site. When the sale is over, we remove any
information pertaining to the expired sale. This is all included in the
costs.
I am sure as you are aware by now website content can be very vague, that
is why we include most of the bells and whistle to avoid our clients from ever
saying " I wish I had that or thought of that", or "I thought I paid for
that". For some, the computer is very intimidating and our job will be to
make a website as user friendly (and "oops proof") as possible for the least
amount of expense and for the most amount of content and on-line
functionality.
Depending on your needs, we can include:

Why do you specialize in the Optical Industry?
One of the principals of EyeVertise is a practicing Optician
since 1976 and we have a multitude of consultants that are
practicing Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, Opticians as well
as Optometric office staff. Two of our principals are
computer scientists so even though much of our work is
related directly to the Optical Community, we also engage in
programming and development for those outside the optical
industry.

Why Eyevertise and not someone else?
We are not a conglomerate company. We know that for many
future patients, your
website will be the first contact they may have
with your office. We want the first impression to be a "Wow"
one. We believe strongly that your website should represent
your office and integrity in the most positive light
possible. Modesty aside, we are thorough at what we do. We
care as much as you do about the quality and functionality
of your website. Remember our name is on it and you are the
best recommendation. We offer personal, friendly and custom
service. Many of the bells and whistles we offer are
too numerous to explain but we offer them to ensure a
positive user experience because we know you may not know
what they are and we know your user would benefit.
Example 1:
Our forms are all customized. Instead of your user filling
out a complicated form and submitting it with mistakes and
incomplete information, our forms are user-friendly,
personal and interactively helpful. Once a form is filled
out, the user will click on the "Click to View" to continue
with the online process. At this point, they will be brought
to a page that will show them everything that is on the form
that they are sending BEFORE sending it. Here, the form
becomes more personal. For example, when they click on the
"click to view", instead of saying "Office order", it will
say "www.YOU.com Order for Anita C. Clearly. It will also
say "Thank you Anita for ordering on line! You are one click
away!", or something to that effect. If they are now
satisfied with the information that they wish to send is
correct, AND (because of our "validation Scripts") completed
correctly, they will click the "send now" button. Now, they
will be sent to a thank you page and an email will be sent
to you with links to the HIPAA Compliant secured
information and a confirmation email will be simultaneously
sent to the user as well, as this will suffice for your
patient's
confirmation. The "subject" of the "thank you" email will be
what ever you want, and the "from" line will be from "your practice.com", or whatever you prefer!
Example 2:
You recall the "reset" button" on a few forms, right? If
clicked, they erase everything that was filled out on a
form, to start over. Many times this button is clicked
inadvertently erasing all the input provided by your user
which can be frustrating and time consuming. We will have
an alert pop up giving them the choice to start over, or
continue. This should protect many of your users from
starting over or just plain giving up.
Example 3:
Also, note the insurance form...most patients have single
coverage insurance, but many do have multiple, secondary,
and/or medical coverage. Why have this long mundane form, or
multiple forms for
all possible coverage when many do not need it? However, you do
need an ability to accommodate insurance requirements. So, the
patient sees the form, and fills it out. If they have
secondary insurance, then the put a check in the box "Click
here if you have secondary and/or medical insurance", and
the form dynamically expands for this purpose, therefore it
is like three forms in one!
As mentioned earlier, there are other bells and whistles
that we can include, but are too numerous to mention here.

What about a free website?
More people than you may realize use search engines to find
what they are looking for. 'Free'" sites are NOT search
friendly and may not always reflect your office correctly.
Instead of finding you, they find your competitor. To be
blunt, the "Free" websites offer little in creativity which
leads to positive office representation, and little if any
personalization or content input. Nothing is free...cheap
maybe, but not free.

What are the benefits of a website?
REPRESENTATION, COMMUNICATION and CONTACT!!!
The benefits are the same as the benefits of a telephone ON STEROIDS,
because it also brings along a 24/7 office staff that you do
not have to pay salary or medical benefits for. Patients do
not hope a thriving office has a website...they expect it,
and they drive the bus to success. During closed hours your
patients and future patients can interact with your office
through your website. During office hours patients can also interact with your office
through the website which can dramatically cut down costs, phone
time and "fill-out-form" time in the office; as well as freeing up personal for
other important office functions. The website not only
can promote your office, but can educate your patients as
well.
 The Web
is where your future and current patients, AND your
competitors are..
 Over
200,000,000 American homes have internet access and already
account for over 8% of total retail sales.
 The
average Internet Surfer spends over 10 hours online weekly
searching for goods, services, and information.
 If you
have a business card, you need a web site.

If you have a brochure, you need a web site.

If you have a telephone, you need a web site.
 A web
site will help you attract new patients, retain current
patients and customers and sales.
Not only that, it'll help you get the right patients-- the
ones who want your service. A web site is like your salesman
that is there to help people find you 24/7.

Does it cost to add content after the site is built?
Nope...Nothing...Zip...Nada...That's all included in your
maintenance fees.

-
What if I already have a website?
Good for you! If you are happy with your site and the
new patients it creates and it saves you time at the
office than stay with it! There is an old expression...If it
works, don't fix it!. However, if your existing site needs a
"Face-lift" or if the site looks like your 10 year old
nephew did it, or if it only looks good if you have
cataracts, then contact us or another reputable optometric
web designer. A BAD website CAN and DOES COST you more than
you may realize.

-
Do you use
templates or custom designs?
All of our website designs are customized to your office's
cosmetics and integrity. While there may be some
similarities, you will not see your design on your
competitors websites.

-
Who supplies the content?
We do and you do, because building your customized patient
inter-active website is a cooperative venture to reflect your
wants and needs. Each office is individual so each site will
be as well. We have much information and imagery we can
supply but we also require your input as well.

Do
you supply statistics about the website?
More than you need.
